DELTABEAM® Composite Beam is used in the precast main structure on the middle axises in this building.
Peikko spoke with site manager Nico Boogaard: He mentioned a number of nice benefits of using DELTABEAM® Composite Beams in this project. The assembly is very easy and fast, it is easy to pour the fill-in concrete at site and because of the super stable cross section of the beams they require no temporary propping during the assembly phase.
Nico also stated whole assembly process speeded up by using DELTABEAMS. In this project, the DELTABEAM® has an integrated fire resistance of 60 minutes.
